Having been a key supplier to both the China-Britain Business Council and UK Trade & Investment for a number of years, we have assisted them in delivering some of the UK's most prestigious China business events.

As part of this business engagement, we were asked to develop a cutting edge brand that reflected the successful co-operation and cohesion between the two markets. Not only has the brand become synonymous with the high-level engagement between the two nations, but it has also been developed and used in a number of other marketing applications.

In 2009, UpStage was asked not only to provide all of the on-site technical management for the meeting of the two Premiers at the UK-China Business Summit, but also to work its creative magic on ensuring that an over-subscribed event could be made accessible virtually. Our solution ensured that people across the globe could watch the Summit live on the Internet seamlessly.

Similarly, at the Partners for Business Summit, attended by the Chinese Minister of Commerce and the Secretary of State, we were appointed to make sure that the event was profiled and that the best opportunities for deal making were inspired. We filmed the event and produced a video for UK Trade & Investment showcasing how UK Trade & Investment can assist small-to-medium sized companies looking to enter the China market. Likewise, UpStage was also appointed to produce an impressive business summit in London as a showcase for the governments of both the Hong Kong SAR and Guangdong Province in China. By attracting more than 1,100 high-level business representatives and a list of VIPs - including the Chief Secretary of Hong Kong - we helped stimulate investment in one of China's fastest growing province.
